In this tutorial we learn how to install profisis on Ubuntu.
What is profisis
profisis is:
Profisis (ISIS) identifies interacting protein residues in protein-protein interfaces from sequence alone.
The strongest predictions of the method reached over 90% accuracy in a cross-validation experiment.
There are three methods to install profisis on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install profisis Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install profisis using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install profisis
