What is probabel
probabel is:
The ProbABEL package is part of the GenABEL project for analysis of genome-wide data. ProbABEL is used to run GWAS. Using files in filevector/DatABEL format even allows for running GWAS on computers with only a few GB of RAM.
There are three methods to install probabel on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install probabel Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install probabel using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install probabel
