In this tutorial we learn how to install powerdebug on Ubuntu.
What is powerdebug
powerdebug is:
PowerDebug is a tool to display regulator, sensor and clock information. Data is refreshed every few seconds. There is also dump option to display the information just once.
Tool is mostly useful on non-x86 platforms.
There are three methods to install powerdebug on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install powerdebug Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install powerdebug using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install powerdebug

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install powerdebug using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install powerdebug
Install powerdebug Using aptitude

sudo apt-get -y autoremove powerdebug

To remove powerdebug configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge powerdebug
