Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install performous on Ubuntu.
What is performous
performous is:
A karaoke, band and dancing game where one or more players perform a song and the game scores their performances. Supports songs in UltraStar, Frets on Fire and StepMania formats. Microphones and instruments from SingStar, Guitar Hero and Rock Band as well as some dance pads are autodetected.
There are three methods to install performous on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install performous Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install performous using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install performous

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install performous using apt by running the following command:
