In this tutorial we learn how to install opensmtpd-filter-rspamd on Ubuntu.
What is opensmtpd-filter-rspamd
opensmtpd-filter-rspamd is:
This filter implements the Rspamd protocol and allows OpenSMTPD to request an Rspamd analysis of an SMTP transaction before a message is committed to queue.
The filter currently supports:
- greylisting
- adding X-Spam related headers to a message
- rewriting Subject headers
- DKIM-signing messages
- using Rspamd-provided SMTP replies
- allowing Rspamd to add and remove headers
There are three methods to install opensmtpd-filter-rspamd on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install opensmtpd-filter-rspamd Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
