What is openqa-doc
openqa-doc is:
Documentation for openQA (and the associated os-autoinst test engine), covering topics including: installation, configuration, and basic test writing.
openQA is a testing framework that allows you to run tests on pretty-much anything that you can ‘remotely’ control. For instance, a VM that can be accessed via VNC.
There are three methods to install openqa-doc on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install openqa-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install openqa-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install openqa-doc
Install openqa-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install openqa-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install openqa-doc
Install openqa-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install openqa-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install openqa-doc
How To Uninstall openqa-doc on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the openqa-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove openqa-doc
Uninstall openqa-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall openqa-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove openqa-doc
Remove openqa-doc Configurations and Data
To remove openqa-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge openqa-doc

We can use the following command to remove openqa-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
