What is obsession
obsession is:
This package provides the following tools:
- obsession-logout displays a dialog where you can choose if you want to quit the session, power off, suspend or hibernate the computer.
- obsession-exit: this is the command line version of obsession-logout.
- xdg-autostart start automatically programs defined in /etc/xdg/autostart and ~/.config/autostart.
There are three methods to install obsession on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install obsession Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install obsession using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install obsession
