In this tutorial we learn how to install node-decko on Ubuntu.
What is node-decko
node-decko is:
Decorators help simplify code by replacing the noise of common patterns with declarative annotations.
Decko establishes 3 standard decorators that are immediately recognizable, so you can avoid creating decorators in your own codebase:
- @bind: make the value of this constant within a method
- @debounce: throttle calls to a method
- @memoize: cache return values based on arguments
There are three methods to install node-decko on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-decko Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-decko using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-decko
