In this tutorial we learn how to install node-d3-brush
on Ubuntu.
What is node-d3-brush
node-d3-brush is:
Brushing is the interactive specification a one- or two-dimensional selected region using a pointing gesture, such as by clicking and dragging the mouse.
The d3-brush module implements brushing for mouse and touch events using SVG.
Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
There are three methods to install node-d3-brush
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install node-d3-brush Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install node-d3-brush
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install node-d3-brush
Install node-d3-brush Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install node-d3-brush
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install node-d3-brush
Install node-d3-brush Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install node-d3-brush
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install node-d3-brush
How To Uninstall node-d3-brush on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the node-d3-brush
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove node-d3-brush
Uninstall node-d3-brush And Its Dependencies
To uninstall node-d3-brush
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove node-d3-brush
Remove node-d3-brush Configurations and Data
To remove node-d3-brush
configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge node-d3-brush
Remove node-d3-brush configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove node-d3-brush
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge node-d3-brush
