In this tutorial we learn how to install neurodebian-freeze on Ubuntu.
What is neurodebian-freeze
neurodebian-freeze is:
The NeuroDebian project integrates and maintains a variety of software projects within Debian that are useful for neuroscience (such as AFNI, FSL, PsychoPy, etc.) or generic computation (such as HTCondor, pandas, etc.).
This minimalistic package provides nd_freeze script to be used in rich or minimalistic environments (such as Docker or Singularity recipes) to freeze their APT sources. Intended to assist making such images reproducible.
There are three methods to install neurodebian-freeze on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install neurodebian-freeze Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install neurodebian-freeze using apt-get by running the following command:
