What is mono-xsp4
mono-xsp4 is:
XSP is a simple web server written in C# that can be used to run your ASP.NET 4.0 applications.
This is the standalone ASP.NET web server. If you want to run ASP.NET applications with Apache, look at mono-apache-server.
There are three methods to install mono-xsp4
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mono-xsp4 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mono-xsp4
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mono-xsp4
Install mono-xsp4 Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install mono-xsp4
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install mono-xsp4
Install mono-xsp4 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install mono-xsp4
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install mono-xsp4
How To Uninstall mono-xsp4 on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the mono-xsp4
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove mono-xsp4
Uninstall mono-xsp4 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall mono-xsp4
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove mono-xsp4
Remove mono-xsp4 Configurations and Data
To remove mono-xsp4
configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mono-xsp4
Remove mono-xsp4 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove mono-xsp4
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge mono-xsp4
