What is menhir-doc
menhir-doc is:
Menhir is a LR(1) parser generator for the OCaml programming language. It is mostly compatible with the ocamlyacc parser generator provided with OCaml, and has a number of enhancements over ocamlyacc.
This package contains the Menhir manual as a pdf file, and the collection of Menhir examples.
There are three methods to install menhir-doc on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install menhir-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install menhir-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install menhir-doc
Install menhir-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install menhir-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install menhir-doc
Install menhir-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install menhir-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install menhir-doc
How To Uninstall menhir-doc on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the menhir-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove menhir-doc
Uninstall menhir-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall menhir-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove menhir-doc
Remove menhir-doc Configurations and Data
To remove menhir-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge menhir-doc
Remove menhir-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove menhir-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
