Logol is a pattern matching tool using the Logol language. It searches with a specific grammar for a pattern in small or large sequences (DNA, RNA, protein). It provides complete result matching with the original grammar in the results.

There are three methods to install logol on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install logol Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
