Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install logaricheck on Ubuntu.

What is logaricheck

logaricheck is:

Check disk, memory and swap usage using an intelligent threshold function.

This can be used in place of the existing check_disk and check_swap.

There are three methods to install logaricheck on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install logaricheck Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
