What is libyang2-tools
libyang2-tools is:
This package provides the “yanglint” and “yangre” tools which can be used during the creation of IETF YANG schemas. The tools are not generally useful for normal operation where libyang primarily processes configuration data, not schemas.
There are three methods to install libyang2-tools
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libyang2-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libyang2-tools
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libyang2-tools

Update apt database with apt

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libyang2-tools

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
