In this tutorial we learn how to install libufo1 on Ubuntu.

What is libufo1

libufo1 is:

The UFO data processing framework is a C library suited to build general purpose streams data processing on heterogeneous architectures such as CPUs, GPUs or clusters. It is extensively used at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology for Ultra-fast X-ray Imaging (radiography, tomography and laminography).

A gobject-instrospection binding is also provided to write scripts or user interfaces.

This package provides the runtime for libufo.

Install libufo1 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libufo1 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libufo1

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libufo1 using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install libufo1

Install libufo1 Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libufo1 using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libufo1

How To Uninstall libufo1 on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the libufo1 package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libufo1

Uninstall libufo1 And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libufo1 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libufo1

Remove libufo1 Configurations and Data

To remove libufo1 configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libufo1

Remove libufo1 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove libufo1 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libufo1
