What is libtss2-mu0

libtss2-mu0 is:

TPM2.0 TSS (Software Stack) consists of API layers provided to support TPM 2.0 chips. It is made out of three layers:

This package contains the TSS mu libraries that client applications will link against when they require accessing the TPM.

There are three methods to install libtss2-mu0 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libtss2-mu0 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libtss2-mu0 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libtss2-mu0

Install libtss2-mu0 Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libtss2-mu0 using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install libtss2-mu0

Install libtss2-mu0 Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libtss2-mu0 using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libtss2-mu0

How To Uninstall libtss2-mu0 on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the libtss2-mu0 package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libtss2-mu0

sudo apt-get -y purge libtss2-mu0

Remove libtss2-mu0 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove libtss2-mu0 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libtss2-mu0
