What is libtasn1-6
libtasn1-6 is:
Manage ASN1 (Abstract Syntax Notation One) structures. The main features of this library are:
- on-line ASN1 structure management that doesn’t require any C code file generation.
- off-line ASN1 structure management with C code file generation containing an array.
- DER (Distinguish Encoding Rules) encoding
- no limits for INTEGER and ENUMERATED values
This package contains runtime libraries.
There are three methods to install libtasn1-6
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libtasn1-6 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libtasn1-6
