What is libtaint-util-perl
libtaint-util-perl is:
Taint::Util wraps perl’s internal routines for checking and setting the taint flag and thus does not rely on regular expressions for untainting or odd tricks involving eval and kill for checking whether data is tainted, instead it checks and flips a flag on the scalar in-place.
There are three methods to install libtaint-util-perl on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libtaint-util-perl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libtaint-util-perl using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
