In this tutorial we learn how to install libsunflow-java on Ubuntu.
What is libsunflow-java
libsunflow-java is:
Sunflow is an open source rendering system for photo-realistic image synthesis. It is written in Java and built around a flexible ray tracing core and an extensible object-oriented design. It was created as a framework for experimenting with global illumination algorithms and new surface shading models.
There are three methods to install libsunflow-java on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libsunflow-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libsunflow-java using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libsunflow-java

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libsunflow-java using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libsunflow-java
Install libsunflow-java Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libsunflow-java using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libsunflow-java
How To Uninstall libsunflow-java on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the libsunflow-java package we can use the following command:
