In this tutorial we learn how to install libregina3 on Ubuntu.

What is libregina3

libregina3 is:

Regina is an ANSI compliant REXX interpreter for multiple platforms.

REXX is a procedural language that allows programs and algorithms to be written in a clear and structured way, it is also designed to be used as a macro language by arbitrary application programs.

Contains runtime shared libraries.

There are three methods to install libregina3 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libregina3 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libregina3 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libregina3

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libregina3 using apt by running the following command:
