What is libniftiio2
libniftiio2 is:
Niftilib is a set of i/o libraries for reading and writing files in the NIfTI-1 data format. NIfTI-1 is a binary file format for storing medical image data, e.g. magnetic resonance image (MRI) and functional MRI (fMRI) brain images.
This package contains the shared library of the low-level IO library niftiio.
There are three methods to install libniftiio2 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libniftiio2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libniftiio2 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libniftiio2
Install libniftiio2 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libniftiio2 using apt by running the following command:

Install libniftiio2 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update

sudo aptitude -y install libniftiio2
