What is libnginx-mod-http-geoip2
libnginx-mod-http-geoip2 is:
The ngx_http_geoip2 module creates variables with values depending on the client IP address, using the precompiled MaxMind GeoIP2 databases.
Those variables include country, region, city, latitude, longitude, postal code, etc.
There are three methods to install libnginx-mod-http-geoip2 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libnginx-mod-http-geoip2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
