In this tutorial we learn how to install libnftnl-dev on Ubuntu.
What is libnftnl-dev
libnftnl-dev is:
libnftnl is the low-level library for Netfilter 4th generation framework nftables.
Is the user-space library for low-level interaction with nftables Netlink’s API over libmnl.
This package provides development files and static libraries.
There are three methods to install libnftnl-dev on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libnftnl-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libnftnl-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
