In this tutorial we learn how to install libmongocrypt0 on Ubuntu.

What is libmongocrypt0

libmongocrypt0 is:

libmongocrypt facilitates the client-side encryption and decryption, at the field level, of data stored in MongoDB.

This package contains the libmongocrypt and libkms_message runtime libraries.

There are three methods to install libmongocrypt0 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
