In this tutorial we learn how to install libliquid2d on Ubuntu.

What is libliquid2d

libliquid2d is:

liquid-dsp is a free and open-source digital signal processing (DSP) library designed specifically for software defined radios on embedded platforms. The aim is to provide a lightweight DSP library that does not rely on a myriad of external dependencies or proprietary and otherwise cumbersome frameworks. All signal processing elements are designed to be flexible, scalable, and dynamic, including filters, filter design, oscillators, modems, synchronizers, and complex mathematical operations.

This package contains the shared library.

There are three methods to install libliquid2d on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libliquid2d Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libliquid2d using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libliquid2d

Install libliquid2d Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libliquid2d using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install libliquid2d

Install libliquid2d Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libliquid2d using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libliquid2d

How To Uninstall libliquid2d on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the libliquid2d package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libliquid2d

Uninstall libliquid2d And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libliquid2d and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libliquid2d

Remove libliquid2d Configurations and Data

To remove libliquid2d configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libliquid2d

Remove libliquid2d configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove libliquid2d configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libliquid2d
