What is libjogl2-jni
libjogl2-jni is:
The JOGL project hosts the development version of the Java Bindings for OpenGL (JSR-231), and is designed to provide hardware-supported 3D graphics to applications written in Java. JOGL is not the official reference implementation of the JSR, but an evolving workspace; snapshots are taken from this workspace which become the official reference implementations of the JSR. JOGL is part of a suite of open-source technologies initiated by the Game Technology Group at Sun Microsystems.
JOGL provides full access to the APIs in the OpenGL 2.0 specification as well as nearly all vendor extensions, and integrates with the AWT and Swing widget sets.
There are three methods to install libjogl2-jni on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libjogl2-jni Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libjogl2-jni using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libjogl2-jni
How To Uninstall libjogl2-jni on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the libjogl2-jni package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libjogl2-jni

To uninstall libjogl2-jni and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libjogl2-jni

To remove libjogl2-jni configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libjogl2-jni
Remove libjogl2-jni configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libjogl2-jni configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
