In this tutorial we learn how to install libgail18 on Ubuntu.
What is libgail18
libgail18 is:
Gail implements ATK interfaces for GTK widgets which are dynamically loadable at runtime by a GTK application. Once loaded, those parts of an application that use standard GTK widgets will have a basic level of accessibility, without the need to modify the application at all.
This package contains the shared library.
There are three methods to install libgail18 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgail18 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libgail18 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libgail18

After updating apt database, We can install libgail18 using apt by running the following command:
