What is libgail-common
libgail-common is:
Gail implements ATK interfaces for GTK widgets which are dynamically loadable at runtime by a GTK application. Once loaded, those parts of an application that use standard GTK widgets will have a basic level of accessibility, without the need to modify the application at all.
This package contains core shared libraries.
There are three methods to install libgail-common
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libgail-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libgail-common
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libgail-common
