In this tutorial we learn how to install libevas-loaders on Ubuntu.

What is libevas-loaders

libevas-loaders is:

This package contains programs that allow Evas to load many image and document formats for which it has no built-in support, including:

• XCF
• SVG
• PS
• RAW
• LibreOffice

This is part of the Enlightenment Foundation Libraries (EFL).

There are three methods to install libevas-loaders on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libevas-loaders Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
