In this tutorial we learn how to install libdlpack-dev on Ubuntu.

What is libdlpack-dev

libdlpack-dev is:

DLPack is an open in-memory tensor structure to for sharing tensor among frameworks. DLPack enables

DLPack do not intend to implement of Tensor and Ops, but instead use this as common bridge to reuse tensor and ops across frameworks.

There are three methods to install libdlpack-dev on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libdlpack-dev Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libdlpack-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libdlpack-dev

Install libdlpack-dev Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libdlpack-dev using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install libdlpack-dev

Install libdlpack-dev Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libdlpack-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libdlpack-dev

How To Uninstall libdlpack-dev on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the libdlpack-dev package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libdlpack-dev

Uninstall libdlpack-dev And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libdlpack-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libdlpack-dev

Remove libdlpack-dev Configurations and Data

To remove libdlpack-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libdlpack-dev

Remove libdlpack-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove libdlpack-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libdlpack-dev
