Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libdaxctl1 on Ubuntu.
What is libdaxctl1
libdaxctl1 is:
“DAX” are file system extensions to bypass the page cache and block layer to mmap persistent memory, from a PMEM block device, directly into a process address space.
This package contains a utility library used by applications to manage the device DAX subsystem in the Linux kernel.
There are three methods to install libdaxctl1 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libdaxctl1 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libdaxctl1 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libdaxctl1

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
