In this tutorial we learn how to install libcpp-httplib-dev on Ubuntu.

What is libcpp-httplib-dev

libcpp-httplib-dev is:

cpp-httplib is a C++11 cross platform HTTP/HTTPS library, with a focus on ease of use. This is a multi-threaded ‘blocking’ HTTP library. If you are looking for a ’non-blocking’ library, this is not the one that you want.

This package contains the development headers and a pkg-config file.

There are three methods to install libcpp-httplib-dev on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
