What is libconfig9
libconfig9 is:
This library features a fully reentrant parser and includes bindings for both the C and C++ programming languages. It runs on modern POSIX-compliant systems such as Linux, Solaris, and Mac OS X (Darwin), as well as on Microsoft Windows 2000/XP and later (Visual Studio or MinGW).
This library allows parsing, manipulating and writing structured configuration files.
There are three methods to install libconfig9
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libconfig9 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libconfig9
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libconfig9

After updating apt database, We can install libconfig9

sudo apt -y install libconfig9
Install libconfig9 Using aptitude

sudo aptitude update

using aptitude

package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libconfig9

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libconfig9

sudo apt-get -y purge libconfig9
