In this tutorial we learn how to install libcbf1 on Ubuntu.
What is libcbf1
libcbf1 is:
CBFlib is a library of ANSI-C functions providing a simple mechanism for accessing Crystallographic Binary Files (CBF files) and Image-supporting CIF (imgCIF) files.
This package contains the shared library.
There are three methods to install libcbf1 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libcbf1 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libcbf1 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libcbf1

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libcbf1 using apt by running the following command:
