In this tutorial we learn how to install libbidi-clojure on Ubuntu.
What is libbidi-clojure
libbidi-clojure is:
Bi-directional URI dispatch. Like compojure, but when you want to go both ways. If you are serving REST resources, you should be providing links to other resources, and without full support for forming URIs from handlers your code will become coupled with your routing. In short, hard-coded URIs will eventually break.
bidi provides a way to construct URIs from handlers.
There are three methods to install libbidi-clojure on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libbidi-clojure Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libbidi-clojure using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libbidi-clojure
Install libbidi-clojure Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libbidi-clojure using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libbidi-clojure

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
