In this tutorial we learn how to install libbdplus0 on Ubuntu.

What is libbdplus0

libbdplus0 is:

libbdplus is a research project to implement the BD+ System Specifications. It provides, through an open-source library, a way to understand how the BD+ works.

This package DOES NOT provide any key, certificate, configuration file or virtual machine that could be used to decode encrypted copyrighted material.

This package provides the shared library.

There are three methods to install libbdplus0 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libbdplus0 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libbdplus0 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libbdplus0

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update
