What is libaudio2
libaudio2 is:
The Network Audio System (NAS) was developed by NCD for playing, recording, and manipulating audio data over a network. Like the X Window System, it uses the client/server model to separate applications from the specific drivers that control audio input and output devices.
This package contains the NAS library (libaudio), needed for both remote and local output.
There are three methods to install libaudio2 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libaudio2 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libaudio2 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libaudio2
Install libaudio2 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libaudio2 using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libaudio2
Install libaudio2 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
