libaom3 is:
AOMedia Video 1 (AV1) is an open and royalty free video encoding format optimized for the Internet and the successor of VP9. aom is the reference encoder and decoder implementation published by the Alliance for Open Media.
This package contains the shared library.
There are three methods to install libaom3
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libaom3 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libaom3
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libaom3

After updating apt database, We can install libaom3
