What is lambdabot
lambdabot is:
Lambdabot is an IRC bot written over several years by those on the #haskell IRC channel.
It operates as a command-line tool, embedded in an editor, embedded in GHCi, via Internet Relay Chat and on the Web.
There are three methods to install lambdabot on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install lambdabot Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install lambdabot using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install lambdabot
Install lambdabot Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install lambdabot using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install lambdabot
Install lambdabot Using aptitude
