How To Install konq-plugins on Ubuntu

What is konq-plugins

konq-plugins is:

This package contains a variety of useful plugins for Konqueror, the file manager, web browser and document viewer for KDE. Many of these plugins will appear in Konqueror’s Tools menu.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install konq-plugins using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install konq-plugins

Install konq-plugins Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install konq-plugins using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install konq-plugins

Install konq-plugins Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install konq-plugins using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install konq-plugins

How To Uninstall konq-plugins on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the konq-plugins package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove konq-plugins

Uninstall konq-plugins And Its Dependencies

To uninstall konq-plugins and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove konq-plugins

Remove konq-plugins Configurations and Data

To remove konq-plugins configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge konq-plugins

Remove konq-plugins configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove konq-plugins configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge konq-plugins
