In this tutorial we learn how to install ibrazilian on Ubuntu.

What is ibrazilian

This is the Brazilian Portuguese dictionary for ispell as put together by Ricardo Ueda Karpischek ueda@ime.usp.br.

Current status is good enough to be used for daily needs. This dictionary is being developed in a structured way. Verbs are treated apart by a specific software, a verb conjugator (conjugue). Names are partitioned into semantic classes to make vocabulary completion and revision easier.

There are three methods to install ibrazilian on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ibrazilian Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install ibrazilian using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install ibrazilian

Install ibrazilian Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install ibrazilian using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install ibrazilian

Install ibrazilian Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install ibrazilian using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install ibrazilian

How To Uninstall ibrazilian on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the ibrazilian package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove ibrazilian

Uninstall ibrazilian And Its Dependencies

To uninstall ibrazilian and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove ibrazilian

Remove ibrazilian Configurations and Data

To remove ibrazilian configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge ibrazilian

Remove ibrazilian configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove ibrazilian configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
