What is fonts-cegui

fonts-cegui is:

CEGUI is a free library providing windowing and widgets for graphics APIs and engines where such functionality is not natively available or is severely lacking. The library is written in C++, is object oriented, and is primarily targeted at games developers who should be spending their time creating great games, not building GUI sub-systems

This package contains font files for the CEGUI library that are not packaged separately.

There are three methods to install fonts-cegui on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install fonts-cegui Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install fonts-cegui using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install fonts-cegui

Install fonts-cegui Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install fonts-cegui using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install fonts-cegui

Install fonts-cegui Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install fonts-cegui using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install fonts-cegui

How To Uninstall fonts-cegui on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the fonts-cegui package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove fonts-cegui

Uninstall fonts-cegui And Its Dependencies

To uninstall fonts-cegui and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove fonts-cegui

Remove fonts-cegui Configurations and Data

To remove fonts-cegui configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge fonts-cegui

Remove fonts-cegui configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove fonts-cegui configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge fonts-cegui
