Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install fbpager on Ubuntu.

What is fbpager

fbpager is:

fbpager is a pager for Fluxbox with support of the following features:

• mouse gestures with button binding
• great number of configuration items
• alpha channel transparency
• ability to reside in the slit

There are three methods to install fbpager on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install fbpager Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install fbpager using apt-get by running the following command:
