What is farbfeld

farbfeld is:

Farbfeld is a lossless image format designed to be parsed and piped easily. It is designed to be as simple as possible, leaving the task of compression to outside tools, beating PNG’s filesize in many cases.

This package contains tools for converting between farbfeld format and other image formats (png, jpeg, ppm, pam, gif).

There are three methods to install farbfeld on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install farbfeld Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install farbfeld using apt-get by running the following command:
