Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install dvidvi on Ubuntu.
What is dvidvi
dvidvi is:
Allows you to select, change the order, and/or shift the pages in a .dvi file.
This can for example be used to print an A5 booklet on A4 paper, in such a way that you can put a staple through the bundle. A shell script that does just that is provided.
There are three methods to install dvidvi on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dvidvi Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install dvidvi using apt-get by running the following command:
