What is dexdeps
dexdeps is:
This tool dumps a list of fields and methods that a DEX file uses but does not define. When combined with a list of public APIs, it can be used to determine whether an APK is accessing fields and calling methods that it shouldn’t be. It may also be useful in determining whether an application requires a certain minimum API level to execute.
There are three methods to install dexdeps on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install dexdeps Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install dexdeps using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install dexdeps
