What is cd5

cd5 is:

CD-ROM Digest is a program that checks a multi-track CD-ROM. It reports the MD5 digest and size for each track on a CD-ROM. The digest is done as the track is read, without dumping CD-ROM data on the hard drive. This tool helps users that are burning a multi-track CD-ROM to check the result.

There are three methods to install cd5 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install cd5 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install cd5 using apt-get by running the following command:
