The benchmarking toolkit consists of three main components:
- Patch set management tools to track changes over the original source of a set of benchmarks;
- Benchmark execution helpers to prepare benchmarks for various tools, run benchmarks in parallel, and limit execution;
- Result evaluation and presentation, generating LaTeX tables, HTML output, and LaTeX/TikZ plots.
There are three methods to install bmt on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install bmt Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install bmt using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install bmt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install bmt using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install bmt
Install bmt Using aptitude
