In this tutorial we learn how to install aragorn on Ubuntu.
What is aragorn
aragorn is:
The program employs heuristic algorithms to predict tRNA secondary structure, based on homology with recognized tRNA consensus sequences and ability to form a base-paired cloverleaf. tmRNA genes are identified using a modified version of the BRUCE program.
There are three methods to install aragorn on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install aragorn Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install aragorn using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install aragorn

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install aragorn using apt by running the following command:
